Comedian Amy Schumer Reveals Split from Spouse of Seven Years
Entertainer Amy Schumer has announced that she and her husband, chef Chris Fischer are divorcing post a seven-year partnership.
The renowned comedian stated in an online announcement on this week, alongside a photo of the two of them on the subway, that they had made the "tough choice" to split and will remain dedicated to caring for their six-year-old son.
"Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever," she expressed.
Both in their mid-forties, exchanged vows in early 2018 and became parents in 2019.

The star quipped in the Instagram post that the split is not "because I dropped some lbs" and not because Fischer is an "acclaimed culinary expert who can still turn heads".
Fischer won the esteemed James Beard award in the U.S. Culinary category for his 2015 Beetlebung Farm Cookbook: A Year of Cooking on Martha's Vineyard.

The couple appeared together on the culinary television program Amy Schumer's Cooking Lessons, which was broadcast amid the pandemic.
