The Congressional oversight panel has released a set of roughly 70 photos from the estate of deceased found guilty sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the latest in a series of disclosure from a cache of in excess of 95,000 photos the committee has obtained from Epstein's property. It includes pictures of excerpts from the book Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and censored photos of female foreign passports.

This action comes mere hours before the 19th of December deadline for the Justice Department to disclose every records related to its investigation into Epstein.

"These photos pose further queries about what exactly the Department of Justice has in its custody," remarked the Democratic lead of the panel, Robert Garcia.

These are the most recent wealthy, influential individuals to be seen in Epstein property photographs published by the oversight panel - previously disclosed photos also include US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, previous US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Showing up in the photos is is not considered evidence of any misconduct, and a number of the pictured individuals have stated they were in no way involved in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a press release released with the photograph disclosure, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein estate did not offer explanatory details or timings for the photographs.

"Photos were selected to offer the American people with transparency into a typical cross-section of the images received from the estate, and to provide insights into Epstein's associates and his profoundly troubling behavior," the statement says.

Lolita recounts the story of a adolescent who was groomed by a older literature professor.

An additional photograph released is a image of SMS messages from an unidentified sender who claims they have been sent "some girls" and are requesting "$one thousand dollars per girl".

Photo Publication Comes Before DOJ Deadline

The committee has many thousands of images in its custody from the Epstein property, which are "at once disturbing and mundane," its press release on this week clarified.

The House Oversight Committee first legally compelled the holdings of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York prison in 2019 while facing trial on charges of human trafficking, in August.

The images and documents the Epstein property provided to the body are separate from what is often referred to "the Epstein files". Those files are documents in the justice department's control connected to its independent probe into Epstein.

In accordance with the recently passed law, which Donald Trump signed into law recently, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to disclose its files. The extent of what is included in the DOJ's records is unclear, and it's probable that a significant portion of the content will be extensively redacted, comparable to Congressional documents
